It's a great combo of a farm location, with sheep all around and less the 2 miles from an amazing small town. You can almost smell the scotch in the air while sitting outside in the hot tub. The hot tub is immaculate. She cleans it daily and is a great addition to this location.

Out the front there’s nothing but a wall of windows for you to see the lush green countryside where the sheep graze or if your lucky enough like us, the hawks are soaring idle awaiting lunch. Everything about this home evokes the passion and love that we have felt for Scotland and especially the Speyside area since our arrival. They’ve left not one stone unturned when it came to decor at Roys Croft, it is very high end from the linens to every room having robes for the hot tub and slippers and large towels, the tartan plaids from the Outer Hebrides make for an exceptional touch and wait until you see the detailed pillowed throughout or the ornate antler chandlers! The Kitchen is larger then my own! So much so we had to take pictures of every room! When our friends said we were going to enjoy the hot tub, with the rain and the chill, I though they might be crazy but it was a magical ending to a spectacular day. Our sleep was blissful, showering under a rainfall couldn’t have been better and waking to scrumptious shortbreads and fresh coffee was a perfect way to start our morning drive to the bridge and cooperage tour. This host has a incredible suggestion book-that includes suggesting reservations at the Cooper Dog (yum!) just a quick jaunt down the road). Magical!! Thank you so very much! The house was beautiful and the views out of the windows were amazing. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped including bacon and eggs, juice and milk stocked in the refrigerator for us when we arrived. We also enjoyed an evening at home and prepared our own dinner after a visit to the local Co Op, meat store & gourmet shoppe for wine and appetizers. Marion also gave us great recommendations for dining out and was always available every time we had a question.

We came to the area to visit/tour Scotch distilleries and the location from the house to the distilleries was GREAT! There is a small town only 5 minutes by car from the house. We rented a car and there was plenty of room for parking on the property. I was able to wash a load of laundry in the detached laundry room. The kitchen was equipped with a coffee maker and plenty of coffee pods for the 4 of us to enjoy each morning of our stay. Our last night we truly enjoyed hanging out at the house. It felt like we were at home. I would highly recommend staying at Roy's Croft and if we visit this region of Scotland in the future I will absolutely reserve this house again.

We had fresh eggs and bacon for us to cook in the morning,along with an array of coffees and teas. Marion was even sweet enough to have a basket of goodies for us to snack on. And in case we had forgotten any toiletries, Marion had left a basket with essential necessities the one is likely to forget during your traveling. The hot tub is a bonus and a great way to unwind after a full day of walking a whiskey tasting. We had robes and slippers waiting for us on our beds along with over-sized towels specifically for use with the hot tube. The best part was looking up to the night sky and looking at the stars, and making wishes on shooting stars. My group and I were so happy to have been lucky enough to stay at this gem. We will definitely be planning another trip to Scotland and stay on this beautiful property. Everything was amazing.
